Carbon fiber sheets can come in any shape, various specifications, and sizes after processing by CNC carbon fiber routing services. Today, let me briefly introduce our CNC carbon fiber processing method.
If the CNC carbon fiber frame doesn't need special processes such as chamfer, countersunk. we called it normal cutting. It only needs to be one step processed simply by the CNC cutting machine and no need to spend too much time and effort.
1) For countersunk holes, we can do 2 styles. tapered and vertical countersunk hole. You can compare the below picture to see their difference.
a. Tapered hole. The larger hole is drilled at an angle. our customer matches it with flat head screws. (customer only needs to inform us what size of the screws you need to match with)
b. Vertical hole. The Larger hole is drilled straight into the material at a shallower depth than the smaller inner shaft. (need customer provide drawing to make sure do the right hole)
2) Countersunk face
We can do countersunk face according to the drawing. pls provide 3D drawing to our team
The simple carbon fiber cutting part is always sharp on the edge, so some customers need to add the chamfer. in this case, we provide chamfering service. Inner chamfering and outline chamfering accepted.
We can add chamfering when the thickness is above 2.0mm. some customers will ask for 0.5mm chamfering to 2mm parts and 1mm chamfering to 4mm parts.
